Coffee actually roasted
where it’s grown.

Introducing Roasted at Origin: select coffees roasted in the countries where they’re grown, using profiles developed collaboratively with GGET. Coffee closer to harvest. More value kept at origin.

Why we’re doing this

Since the beginning, our coffee program at Go Get Em Tiger has been built around a pretty simple promise: share the beautiful coffees of the world.

We think there’s a better way to deliver on that promise. Instead of shipping raw green coffee halfway around the world and roasting it months later in Los Angeles, we’re partnering with producers to roast select coffees in the countries where they’re actually grown, using profiles developed collaboratively with GGET.

That means coffee closer to harvest, more resources staying where coffee is grown, and a clearer connection between the people who produce it and the people who drink it.

Fresher means more than roast date.

Roast date still matters. But there’s another clock worth paying attention to: the time between harvest and your cup. With RaO, coffee is roasted closer to harvest and shipped as a finished product, with transit taking approximately 10 to 30 days.

More on freshness

In the traditional model, green coffee can spend months traveling, warehousing and waiting before it ever reaches a roaster.

Closer to harvest. Closer to roast. Closer to your cup. That’s the goal.

More of the value stays at origin.

The people who grow, harvest, and process coffee know it in a way no one else can. By roasting at origin, more of the work, value, and expertise stay where the coffee is grown.

More on our partners

Coffee-producing countries have historically exported raw green coffee while much of the value added afterward—roasting, packaging and finished-product preparation—happens somewhere else.

We believe the people closest to the coffee should have a bigger role in how it’s finished. To us, that’s what sustainability should look like: not a claim on a bag, but a better way of doing business.

Roasted at Origin starts with relationships we’ve already spent years building. These are real partners, not brokers. The relationships come first.

This isn’t a side project.

Our goal: move 20% of GGET’s roasting to origin by the end of 2026, and 70% by the end of 2027. We’ll continue roasting in Los Angeles as the program grows—including coffees from Africa and Asia.

More on what’s next

Roasted at Origin isn’t about abandoning what we’ve built here. It’s about expanding what a coffee company can look like and bringing more of the coffee-making process closer to the people and places responsible for it.

Both are GGET. Same standards, same care, same commitment to sharing beautiful coffees—just a clearer picture of where each one came from and how it got to you.

What every bag tells you

Every bag will continue to tell you who produced the coffee, where it came from, how it was processed and roasted, and the details we think matter.

Roasted closer to harvest. More value kept at origin. A story that’s actually true. This is Roasted at Origin.
